Day 1 – Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage today. Board the hotel shuttle bus for transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 2 – Anchorage/Talkeetna
Depart Anchorage by rail and enjoy the scenic ride to Talkeetna. On arrival, you will embark on an exciting jet boat excursion into the heart of the wilderness where you’ll travel along three rivers the Talkeetna, Chulitna and Susitna! Overnight in Talkeetna.

Day 3 – Talkeetna/Denali
Walk through the colorful little town of Talkeetna before boarding the train to Denali. You may dine onboard the train during your exciting rail journey up north. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Denali.

Day 4 – Denali
Enjoy an early morning Tundra Wilderness tour through Denali National Park. An experienced guide will share about the land and wildlife of the area. Overnight near the Denali National Park entrance.

Day 5 – Denali/Fairbanks
Spend the day exploring Denali before departing by rail for Fairbanks. Upon arrival in Fairbanks transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 6 – Fairbanks
During today’s city tour you will learn about local culture and life in the far north. You may want to visit Pioneer Park this evening. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Day 7 – Fairbanks/Anchorage
Return by air this evening to Anchorage. Spend your last full day exploring or choose a unique excursion to the “Top of the World” above the Arctic Circle in Barrow. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 8 – Anchorage
Spend this day at your leisure before your flight home or take part in one of the many optional tours Anchorage has to offer: flight seeing, bear viewing, fishing and more are just a few of a wide variety to choose from.
